Copenstar Music is the publishing company owned by Sandy Newman, the long serving front man of the internationally acclaimed band Marmalade, whose successes include a UK #1 version of the Lennon and McCartney classic “Ob-La-Di Ob-La-Da” and the Top 10 hits “Baby Make It Soon”, “Reflections of My Life”, “Rainbow”, “Loving Things”, “Cousin Norman” “Radancer” and “Falling Apart at the Seams”.

In January 2009, whilst still touring the world with Marmalade, Sandy began work on an album of solo material marrying brand new songs together with a few classic personal favourites such as “Wichita Lineman” and “Homeward Bound”. The album “Golden Years” became available in June 2010.

Copenstar Music also represent the interests of John James Newman, the lead vocalist and one of the principal song-writers in the critically acclaimed band The Velvet Hearts.
